What We Do
What We Do For You
We offer a year long agreement for mole control services, as moles do not hibernate! Moles are only interested in WORMS!! That being said, their tunneling can cause issues with plants (roots being out of the soil), brick work walls & patios, & of course, the appearance of your lawns.
Moles can tunnel under roadways, driveways & sidewalks. They will also follow the tunnels of previous moles. There is nothing that can be done to stop them from coming. Moles are truly Nature’s Aerators!
Our Service
Our services start the day we set the first trap. We will take a thorough look around your property to ensure we get traps into the most strategic/logical places. We will do our best to be less destructive & intrusive than the mole(s). We are there during the day & no one needs to be home. We will perform the service & then send you an update if we have caught a mole. If there is no update, then we have reset and/or relocated traps which will be checked the following week.
Upon arrival, we do a check of the lawn for all mole activity. We dig a plug out of your lawn, find the tunnel(s), put the traps in, put the plug back in & then stick a flag in, so we know where the traps are. The traps are spring traps. No chemicals, no poison. No bait, unless there are really good worms in the plug & then we put them into the tunnels.
We will set traps in gardens when the location is suitable (we don’t want to disturb roots). Bark mulch is super loose, making it easier for moles to tunnel wherever they want to go. We will do our best in mulch, but our focus will be the lawn. Most hedges have a root system that make it impossible to set at the base of.
We check the traps a week later. Reset & relocate as needed. Once a mole is caught, if there are no signs of activity, then we let you know there are no traps set OR if the traps & area show no signs of activity for 2 weeks in a row, then we let you know there are no traps set.
**When no traps are set, YOU are to let us know when you see a new hill via text, call or email & we will be there within the next 7-10 days to start the process over again.*
Maintenance Schedule
We service the Abbotsford areas on Tuesdays. When there is a holiday on the Monday, we just push the service a day to Wednesdays & then back to Tuesdays the following week.
If there is extreme weather (heat, rain or snow), then service maybe rescheduled & we would keep you informed on when we will be there.

Our Process
- A neat plug of dirt & grass will be removed to locate the mole tunnels.
- Traps will be placed within the tunnels & the plug will be replaced.
- A flag will be used as an indicator for where the traps are set.
- We will be back the following week, on a regular service schedule** for your town/city, & will continue once a week until a mole is caught.
- When a mole is caught & there are signs of additional activity, traps will be reset and/or relocated.
- When a mole is caught & there are no signs of additional activity, all traps will be removed & you will be notified*.
- IF no mole has been caught & there are no signs of activity for 2 weeks in a row, then the mole has gone away. All traps will be removed & you will be notified*.
- Notified* – when you have been notified that all traps have been removed, you need to notify us by call/text/email when the next hill pops up.
Note: We do not make weekly inspections of your property when no traps are set.
